Sticky situation gratitude to my daughter...?

I open my Macbook Pro laptop and noticed a bit of green sticky goo (God know what) and she's three, so I'm not getting a clear answer out of her as to what it was... disappointingly.

I have tried Goof Off and Goo Gone, however nothing is removing this residue. The largest thing to hold in mind is that it's a working (near new) Apple professional laptop, so I revulsion to do something to clean it and find out I've worsened a horrible situation beside my new $2000 laptop.

Thanks!

Answer:

With the power stale and the battery removed, try for a while denatured alcohol.

You might also get Klearscreen to work.
Try Jojoba Oil. It works for that.
If you own a warranty, it might be worth sending in...

Otherwise, unless it's surrounded by the way of typing and using the laptop, don't ruin the grand piano by trying dozens of products. It's not worth it if it's unnecessary.
Phone the company and ask their advice. Tell them what happen. Try to figure out what the green goo is 1st. to be capable of tell them.
I guess the physical question is who agree to a three year old close by your computer? Not exactly what I would call fitting, even mediocre, parenting!
