I am traveling to Hungary subsequent semester. Of course I am taking my laptop with my several gigs of music. I love music and want to listen to it over there louder than my laptop will allow beside external speakers. What are the best ones to get that are at a plausible price and if it has a subwoofer that it will be somewhat small.

I want to get hold of a laptop that is a terrifically low price and I am a gamer too...and I know it will be hard trying to look for a low price computer to play the games I want to play. If you take the top dollar card within cost, take 30% of that cost and thats what you should spend on a video card at most. It's really more of a personal choice but I prefer ATI. They across the world run better with games.

ATI Catalyst Problems?
I enjoy a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop which has a ATI Xpress 1150 graphics card and 1GB of RAM. The problem is that surrounded by Catalyst Control Centre (which came beside my 5 month old laptop) doesnt apply the desired UMA Frame Buffer.It be set at 128MB. At the moment its set a 256MB (which is of course deduct from my RAM) but when you go to the drop down menu to translation it back to 128mb it say 16mb. When I select 128mb and press apply and restart it still takes up 256MB. Why wont it progress back? Im running Windows XP Home

ATI 200M Youtube BSOD?
I only just tryed to udgrade my vid card drivers through ati. at first I had trouble, but next i fixed it and my computer WAS working fine. However, my computer now have MAJOR problems with youtube. After give or take a few 5 or so videos the eyeshade blanks out to black, and in almost 1 minute, it may come up with a VPU error pane and be fine for a wile, or just stop altogether, cause for manuel restart. Any suggestions?

This is a thing of personal opinion. I would voice more people approaching their Apple machines than people approaching their Windows machines. I currently know of about 5 those, all of which are IT professionals that own switched from Windows based laptops to Macbook Pros and they adjectives love their new machines. Every ultimate one of them says matching thing I wish I would've switched sooner. Like I said earlier man it's a thing of personal preference. I will furnish you 2 of the main reason people are switching
1) Stability of the MAC OSX is road better than Windows

Any track to net Macbook speakers louder?
I own a macbook, just get it. Im new to Mac so conceivably im missing something but its not 2 loud. I have the output volume turned adjectives the way up contained by system preferences and I have the volume railing all the wy up within whatever application im using Itunes or movies, etc. But its not pretty loud enough. Well I have planned on getting a dell notebook with xp. I'm a computer science principal and didn't wana risk my programs not working on my modern pc for conservatory. Well I check today and they new notebook are out. Yay!.NOT. Now dell only sell 2 notebooks beside xp which neither interest me and I thought about the Dell outlet but even nearby XP is rare.
I call for a notebook for school that can run Textpad an other programming software but at one and the same time I want a good laptop I can upgrade to vista once the support is better for it. I own a latitude d600 and the CPU temp is 45 degrees C and the thorny drive is is also 45 degrees. I'm running a program call I8kfanGUI which lets you control the fan. I turned the fan to high-ranking which lowered the temp of the CPU but not the hard drive. Does anyone enjoy any suggestions on a way to lower the temp of the tricky drive?

My Toshiba have 802.11 b/g, and I've had one issue that's adjectives with using the Wireless Zero Configuration service built into WinXP. It's not a problem when you're surfing/e-mailing, but it'a headache for games/VoIP or anything else where on earth you need a constant background feed. WZC continuously search for wireless networks, even if there's only one available. This cause timeouts and/or disconnects. Fortunately, the internal adapter does not rely on WZC, so I can completely disable it and use the adapter's software instead. My laptop didn't come with the software, but it's available from Intel's website, and I've have no problems.
To my knowledge, the timeout/disconnect issue next to WZC has still not be fixed in WinXP, and I enjoy no idea if one and the same issue exists with Vista.
802.11 a i cogitate is no longer used, and may have some incompatibility issues near some new systems.
