AMD v's Intel Processors - What's better?

Im after honest opinion

Answer:

At this time the Intel Core 2 series are the best microprocessors available. AMD's Barcelona (code name) is due in a few months and may at that time take in for questioning up or surpass the Core 2 series.
I don't know about AMD processors or their features, I'm assuming its simply another brand of processor. Currently, Intel Processors are clocking faster than AMD. If that is what you are asking.

Right immediately Intel is better. It costs a tad more though
Intel is better than AMD.
I love AMD processors and have used them for a long time but right very soon AMD is playing catch-up with Intel.

The Intel Core 2 Duo flash uses less power and get more done than the comparable Turion/Athlon line from AMD.

So, if I looked-for to get the fastest computer I could I would be going beside Intel.

However, there are some really cheap AMD processors out near. You can get a Sempron or slower Athlon chip for cheap and both would serve for rough computer needs. If I be on a very tight budget and considered necessary a reliable processor on the cheap I would look at AMD.
Intel has better processors and their CEO said that they will know how to maintain that behaviour lead for adjectives of 2007 (and Intel is a conservative forcaster).
