ATI Catalyst Problems?

I enjoy a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop which has a ATI Xpress 1150 graphics card and 1GB of RAM. The problem is that surrounded by Catalyst Control Centre (which came beside my 5 month old laptop) doesnt apply the desired UMA Frame Buffer.It be set at 128MB. At the moment its set a 256MB (which is of course deduct from my RAM) but when you go to the drop down menu to translation it back to 128mb it say 16mb. When I select 128mb and press apply and restart it still takes up 256MB. Why wont it progress back? Im running Windows XP Home

mmm .. theres probably a setting contained by ur bios settup to adjust that ... its prolly overriding it ...
