ok...i enjoy this laptop... i want to upgrade the ram on it and curently it is 128mb... when i amenable the back of it up.. i see the 2 places where on earth the ram can stir... both of those places have a bump chip thing contained by them... so does that mean respectively of those chips have 64mb of hit?
Answer:
Usually the ram chips come surrounded by increments of 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb or 1gb. If you have 128mb and two cards likelihood are pretty good they are both 64mb.
more than potential. turn the computer off and thieve one of them out then turn it spinal column on. if it reports 64Mb, then yeah they are both 64
Probably.
There's a great site for memory upgrades. Go to Crucial.com and run the system scanner. It will speak about you your options for memory upgrade (and what you have). Free too.
Bingo!
perchance. take one bump out and switch on the machine and see for yourself wheather its 64mb or not.
