Not a great deal.
Sure it have a great video card in the 7950 but...
It is using an elder Turion processor which won't be that fast. It doesn't come beside a very life-size (or fast) hard drive and you will want to donate more Ram to make it a gaming contraption.
So, it IS a good apparatus, but you can fine better for a lower price tag
However, this one would hold better battery natural life. Faster processor, more ram, more tough drive space and newer generation video card

This one would also be a flawless choice with faster processor, same run into, bigger hard drive and newer colleagues video card (but not as fast as the alienware one). Added bonus it is lighter and costs almost $200 smaller quantity.

I would say no. I utter this because you can go to http://www.ibuypower.com and customize one for nearly 200 dollars cheaper than alienware.
Specs would help.
