Both are sort of a barter... which one is least predictable to crap out on me and perform properly?

I used to have a few gateways a couple years subsidise and now I own an acer I would go beside the acer because it is a better brand with better service and support
Acer is better than Gateway, so receive an Acer Aspire AS5570-2067.
