Acer Aspire 9410 not booting when installed near 2 x 2gb memory,?



Answer:

my guess is your system does not support 4 gb push,

only 1 gb respectively slot



sorry, the acer product page tells otherwise

possibly one of those 2 gb sticks is faulty !

did you try & check both sticks work fine individually

subsequent > you have to ensure both hit slots work

is it only one slot you are trying

own you inserted in other slot too
Go to the mfr's site and check the specs of the model you hold. If the specs say that your model supports 2x2gb=4gb consequently make sure your memory is the correct type/speed and is a mfr supported type.



A side information is that your bios may be the culprit and an update may resolve the problem.
