I own 1.40ghz, 248mb of ram. I want to know is that worthy? Or how to make it better?
Answer:
The processor is nice of slow and there is simply a little run into. Your best off upgrading to 512mb hit and saving for a completely modern laptop.
this website will tell you how much RAM your computer can hold and how much is contained by it (if its full or not)

Eh, it's a good internet/office appliance.
could use a little more hit, but as long as it works...
That's a low end system, you would own to get the specs on that motherboard to see if it's upgradeable, more than potential it is. Open the case and look on the MB, you'll see the generate and model printed in voluminous letters, write that down after google it for the specs. The specs should tell you how much strike it will take and the max processor speed.
Get rid of it? O.K. adequate of the sarcasm - but that machine is on the 'old' side. You could stick another stick of 256 - 512 MB of RAM contained by it. However, that Celeron is a dog.
As I look at it - the reason you hold 248 MB of RAM is because 8MB is shared for your video memory - hardly plenty for today's video intensive downloads.
