1.5 GB memory on macbook?

I hold a macbook with 1 GB of memory (two sticks of partially gig each) and im thinking something like upgrading. I'm just wondering if it would b bleak for my laptop to upgrade just one of the sticks to a one see making the totaly RAM 1.5 GB

You will lose dual trench mode which slows down the memory but if you are currently actually have problems with running out of memory afterwards the slow down from that is much worse than the slow down from losing dual burrow.
What you can do is to get impossible to tell apart model of memory but with large capacity, bu it have to be the exact match same brand same speed everything except the amount of memory. Visit www.crucial.com or www.frys.com you may find moral dealsby the side of memory DIMMS.
