Best laptop?

i necessitate a good laptop to run an assortment of program such as photoshop, dreamweaver, after effects and other program which are made for design and coding. which would be a good computer near speed and able to knob these programs well.

Answer:

The bright Dell E1520 might be a good choice. You can buy it near many top option including a NV8600 Vid card, 4GBs of RAM, a 160 GB HD and 3 screen types.
if you NEED a laptop, after definitely find a MacBook Pro. For these programs I would not use a laptop at all though. Get an 8-core Mac instead.

Which ever bearing you decide to stir, get another tough drive to store the files on. Don't run you OS, programs and files off impossible to tell apart hard drive.

There's an article surrounded by the recent MacLife magazine that says the lone bottleneck in the current MacBook Pros is the memory buss speed, and that is to say because there isn't faster laptop memory within existence yet. The apps you want to use should be used next to a professional display, not a laptop display.
I say a MacBook Pro. They hold a 17-inch one that has Hi-Resolution peak option for programs close to that.
Toshiba makes the best laptops. I would importantly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.

Best laptop speakers?

I am traveling to Hungary subsequent semester. Of course I am taking my laptop with my several gigs of music. I love music and want to listen to it over there louder than my laptop will allow beside external speakers. What are the best ones to get that are at a plausible price and if it has a subwoofer that it will be somewhat small.

I saw a few powered by usb which would be nice because of the power converters. Has anyone have these or know how well they work, reliability, loudness, etc...?

Thanks,

Kevin

Answer:

You should acquire Cyber Acoustics(R) CA-2014RB 2-Piece Speaker System, 3 Watt speakers from Office Depot. It requires electricity, but it can plug into your computer's headphone port. I had experience next to these speakers, and they work great.

Best laptop for an engineering student?

I am going to university subsequent year to major contained by computer engineering. I would like to hold on to the laptop at $1500 or under. What are some brands, or models (more specifically), that I should be looking at?

Answer:

Engineering will require alot of computer time, and I don't judge Macs will work with most apps you are given to use, so dance for a Windows laptop. Thinkpads are durable, although expensive. HP's look good but also look resembling they can break. Dells are popular and pretty good adjectives around. Go for a Dell. It's nice to have as much processor speed and RAM as possible, preferably 1 GB of RAM at smallest, then verbs about processor speed if you enjoy money in your budget vanished over.
HP makes a upright one for like $1100.. The dv6500t series. Really correct price right now.
HP dv6500t, Sony Vaio FZ series, CR series, Dell inspiron 1520/1501, Lenovo thinkpad T60/T61 are some apt notebooks
if its simply for basic stuff and not gaming any dual core laptop beside 2 gigs of ram should be simply fine
Toshiba makes the best laptops. I would importantly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have one, and I love it.

-ATI Radeon Xpress 200m

-ATI Radeon Xpress 1150

-ATI Radeon Xpress 1100

-NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (UMA)

Which one...pleaz help

Answer:

Okay, first I'll mention that you are asking to pick the best of a shaky bunch but since my computer has an ATI Radeon 9000 I'm not surrounded by a position to say much :)

So, by the 3dMark2005 numbers:

Intel GMA 950 : a whopping 170

and the Radeon 200m : even worse at 120 <ugh>

The Nvidia 6150 : better at 630

The Radeon 1150 : top of the pile at 720

The 1100 : couldn't find a 3dmark 2005 number but it looks to be in the 400-500 inventory.

Remember, these are pretty bottom of the heap but yes, much better than the GMA 950.

If you can spring for a better card :

the Nvidia 7300 have a speed of : 1600

Nvidia 8400M : 2000

Check the link below for a rundown of what numbers shift with what :)

Hope this help
